But my opinion is maybe slightly to the left of even this notion. I would like to see a world where everybody didn't just "coexist", but actually valued with sincerity the contributions that can enrich the human condition from all philosphical outlooks. I also value things like social metaprogramming and I believe that each individual should to a certain extent create their own culture within themselves and share that perspective with the world in a good and enriching way, while removing the ego from the equation as much as possible. I feel that much of my life has been devoted to obtaining this kind of level of objectivity or striving towards it, maintaining this as an ideal to strive towards, even despite myself sometimes. Always striving towards the best values that I can maintain. Determining not to self-immolate when I don't achieve. Hoping to define the value of my life by how I can help others.

I have been reading some more interesting books lately, and also am learning Portugese.

These are some things that I find to be very enlightening. I can imagine George Clooney smiling with his perfectly symmetrical teeth at the thought of my worldliness. I definitely wallow in the glow of this notion.

I will certainly be mindful not to release too many endorphins when I read the new Heinlein book I am picking up.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; It has become apparent to me, that it might be a minority of people who actually strive to maintain an internal dialog with their higher self, a connection to a higher intuition. A large percentage of people might actually choose to draw the bulk majority of their decision making process from the status quo, or the mostly exclusively from the accolades and criticism of their peers. We are social creatures and this kind of feedback is very important. But I feel as many others do too, that a connection to a personal vision that is evolving towards a better future and is in some ways seperate from this feedback is also imporant. It can be at times a cause of alienation, but also it can serve as a beacon of hope during more emotionally straining times in life. As my own life has evolved through various phases, this has been a guiding factor.

That and a healthy sense of humor. It can never be underestimated in my personal opinion that a seriousness with regards to strongly held beliefs and personal vision is a great asset, when also coupled with a sense of humor and flexibility that allows one to learn new concepts. The personal vision that I have also helps me to continually embrace the idea that we humans must work together, and not against each other, to create a more promising future for us all when it is possible to do so. Though I have strong beliefs about many things, they are not held at the expense of a sense of unity and cooperation towards humanistic goals. In fact, my beliefs actually stick fairly steadfast to this notion.

I realize and accept as being inherent in every person, a worth and a value. A potential. I am under no illusions of their ever having been a single perfect example of what every human should be like. My pluralism and pluralistic attitude is one that icontains this built-in and genuine prevention and heart-felt belief against a lot of misleading notions that someone can have. Of course I sometimes falter. I hope to continually reduce my mistakes. This attitude allows you to maintain your own personal vision without diluting it in any way, but also runs strongly counter to a totalitarian, fascist, or superior/inferior type of attitude. It honors the Buddhist tradition of non-interference, by not cultivating an attitude within oneself to impose your own subjective belief structures on others, though I know that many things viewed as subjective to others are clearly objective to me, and vice a versa.

This is the basis of coexistence and tolerance. Assertiveness is critical to function, and fully and unabashedly embracing ones beliefs is both a responsibility and a joy, a curse and a blessing. To embark on this journey, is a mark of the beginning of a series of lifelong attitudinal transitions and evolutions, and is and must be inclusive of the great contributions of all of the others in the human family. I realize my contributions will pale compared to most of these, but that doesn’t mean I don’t find meaning in this kind of sacred direction in my own life’s journey, however meager my own contributions may ultimately be in the larger scheme of the macroverse. This attitude requires an individual to see through farce, it must cut through intolerance with precision.

It must maintain the real and elevated notion that we all have something to contribute. It must realize that as we walk together in life, it is a great joy and an obligation, to help our fellow travelers go down the road. Not so they can necessarily arrive at the same home or final spiritual destination as ourselves, but so they can achieve the work that is hidden in their own unique heart to achieve. We share as humans, our stories of joys, and sorrows. We share because we need to commune with each other, and also so we can help each other progress on our journeys while avoiding the best we can so many common pitfalls and dangerous self-delusions that may threaten to keep us from getting home….

I wouldn’t be alive without having had a lot of help in life. That is a major understatement. This alone makes me feel a sense of indebtedness to the world. But it is really with a sense of joy that I look forward to giving back in a positive way to the world, and it is much in these terms that I look forward to what my life may hold for me.

I'm not the most qualified, the most talented, or the most virtuous person on this or any other planet, that again is an understatement. But I maintain that the glowing spark of personal vision, is ultimately the most invaluable belonging to any individual. And it is capable of making the world a better place.

Haha. Okay, I know this isn’t exactly the most poetic wording. But this is basically the way the I feel. It’s important to me. As always, Thanks for reading! I really believe in synchronicity, and some really spiritually benevolent guidance leads me to discover these types of things, or sometimes discover that I need to apply and understand more fully things which only I have previously only had a basic understanding of.

This is a very simple thing, really simple. Amazingly, I have overlooked the necessity for me to apply this to my life at every moment. This is not common practice, usually what I am sharing with you is applied only occasionally during peak anxiety states. For me, I just get so much benefit from it, I have began to use this in my everday life for several days now more and more.

It is diaphragmatic breathing. Here is the Wiki entry (partial):

According the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine, "12.7 percent of American adults [have] used deep-breathing exercises... for health purposes,"[2] which it describes as follows, "Deep breathing involves slow and deep inhalation through the nose, usually to a count of 10, followed by slow and complete exhalation for a similar count. The process may be repeated 5 to 10 times, several times a day."[3]
To breathe diaphragmatically, or with the diaphragm, one must draw air into the lungs in a way which will expand the stomach and not the chest. It is best to perform these breaths as long, slow intakes of air – allowing the body to absorb all of the inhaled oxygen while simultaneously relaxing the breather.[medical citation needed]
To do this comfortably, it is often best to loosen tight-fitting pants/belts/skirts (nude also works well), as these can interfere with the body's ability to intake air. While at first one may not feel comfortable expanding the stomach during breathing, diaphragmatic breathing actually fills up the majority of the lungs with oxygen – much more than chest-breathing or shallow breathing.

Diaphragmatic breathing, abdominal breathing, belly breathing or deep breathing is breathing that is done by contracting the diaphragm, a muscle located horizontally between the chest cavity and stomach cavity. Air enters the lungs and the belly expands during this type of breathing.
This deep breathing is marked by expansion of the abdomen rather than the chest when breathing. It is considered by some to be a healthier and fuller way to ingest oxygen[1], and is sometimes used as a therapy for hyperventilation, anxiety disorders and stuttering.

This is so simply and powerfully effective. It helps me in numerous ways. My main challenge is transitioning into this, and reminding myself to resort back to this, when I find myself veering back to a more usual shallow breathing pattern. In a way, it just getting myself into this constant breathing pattern.

This helps psychologically, physiologically, and even psychically/astrally in several ways.

1. It helps alleviate stress and anxiety, and I find that the more higher stress the situation may involve I exaggerate this breathing technique in step with the stress.

2. It helps to anchor and ground yourself psychologically. I amsomeone who is pretty "psychically attuned", or intuitive. NOT schizofrenic. I can be somewhat sensitive by others energy that is emitted from within their astral bodies/aura. If you experience this and just take this as being a part of your life, you know that I mean. This sometimes creates some major discomfort because you can predict peoples behavior patterns often, and this sometimes can be a stress creating factor. When you must be somewhere and interact, it is helpful absolutely necessary to stay "grounded" and centered within your being. This simple diaphragmatic breathing allows me to do this, again the more negative the other persons vibe, the deeper and more exaggerated is this breathing pattern. Unless actually prompted to just relocate altogether.

3. It can help you to be anchored in your environment rather than visa versa. Using this technique, I truly can become one, with my environment, in a way that is transcendtal, and merging, yet also anchoring within myself and centering with my highest intentions.

Some hindrances or obstacles with this technique-

1. It might seem kind of wierd to others, when I breath this way, I sometimes visualize the prana entering into the unity chakra at the same time. Sometimes the breathing is loud enough to sound like borderline snoring. It's okay, people will get used to you.

2. Sometimes it is easy to forget to breath this way because it does exert more physical energy and burns more calories. At first it seems like it is requiring more resoluteness to maintain this kind of breathing pattern at all times. However, reverting back to the shallow lung breathing is kind of like backpedaling. Sticking with this pattern for hours as you go about your day, and you may notice something that I have feltl neurologically. It is almost like taking a healthy dose of choline/inositol, or the effect of being mildly stoned or having a good run. In NLP terms this might prompt you to begin switching to existing more consistently in terms of feeling, instead of the other sense modalities. Maintaining this "feeling" awareness as the primary modality is a great thing to do in my opinion.

3. Stick with this if it works for you. For me this works so profoundly but noone recommended this to me, I had to be led to this by a higher intuition, as is often the situation. I feel that this knowledge is important, and so I am sharing this simple technique with my hopefully broadening reader base.

Peace!

Spiritual teacher Stan Tenen, is a dynamic speaker who conveys a unique perspective on human consciousness, that I feel very fortunate to have discovered today, actually. He conveys spiritual truths from the book of Genesis with clarity that couples up-to-date scientific knowledge with the enlightening spiritual wisdom of the Jewish tradition. In this particular YouTube video, Stan is speaking of his realization that God is not a static noun, but rather an active force in our existence as humans.

More of Stan Tenen's teachings as well as those of his collegues can be found at Meru.org

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WVJMIVtlNG4

Toxic thought forms? It is meant to control healthy and respectful sexual expression, and has the effect of making people more easily manipulated to certain ends. I don’t regard either of these social constructs. I value respect, and consent. Wilhelm Reich understood the basis of fascism well, being a non-religious Jew and having lived through the era of Nazi Germany .Read The Psychology of Fascism, or the Sexual Revolution, and you will see that he sees how things like fascism and racism, are inextricably linked to what he refers to as sexual repression and repression of orgastic potetential, which also refers to creativity outside of sex. He also traces this hypocritical fiercely chauvenistic attitude to being as one of the roots of Nazi anti-semitism and homophobia.

Here is a diagram of kinda how GREEN NEIGHBORS would interlink individual Urban Garden "pods"
to form on giant URBAN CO-OP FARM, THING!

Hello Everybody!

One of the reason for starting GGNOME.BLOGSPOT was to be a launching pad for a new idea for Urban Farming.

The idea is tentatively called GREEN NEIGHBORS URBAN PERMACULTURE.

It is an unusual approach, but very practical. I had a very good experience of meditation that morning, I think that thinking on my decision to live a polyamorous relationship lifestyle* and truly assimilating this concept into my layers of consciousness in a unique way, has had a positive effect on my consciousness. In other words it was entering in NLP terms into as state of congruence with my highest values. It is common for the area within a certain circumference around the spot of meditation to become light or colored momentarily even to non-psychic individuals with a certain hue. This time the room where I was meditating turned a bright pinkish/purple hue momentarily. Later, then in the evening, when feeling this warmness surround me, I felt a small light emerge and it traced the outline of my skull but…it was more like the shape of the skulls that are the crystal skull shape Core Love is making. Within that extra space behind my actual physical skull I could sense and with closed eyes could actually see this purple energy that seemed very much “biological” in its own way. Within this experience I felt that I was explained that this extra area could be utilized to better myself in some way. It was a an amazing experience, and I asked for it to be used to produce more empathy, more love, and increase the capacity to love and produce love energy more evenly across my being on multiple levels evenly across the 5 elements of earth, fire, water, air, and spirit.

There was some other more personal stuff too. But this was an amazing experience.

*a decision that was not prompted by an external role models or social trends (MTV recently ran a few episodes on polyamory for instance) but on an organic necessity to embrace my true, highest values within my inner nature...Many folks are making this decision, and I believe it has reached positive or reverse tipping point, maybe a takeoff point in linear history for this concept. This is not solopsism or narcisissm, or any other sort of sublimation on my part, I can just tell intuitively, that statistically polyamory is going to experience a takeoff similar to the Google-era technology boom. I believe this will result in more gender equality and help prepare the way for a more egalitarian society, which is what we are heading for, and that is what I began to sense quite a while ago. That is what Occupy is about, that is what the Serpent of Light is about, if you ever get a chance to read that book. Which is why my interests have developed a certain way. Each of us must follow the light within, and the collective unconscious is fun to surf. Satchmo, surfin' with the aliens! Peace!

<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-wwJ-G_d8aaY/TyazmURTpCI/AAAAAAAAAEg/IYEmP1tXm4k/s1600/images1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; Start learning a new language really, because I only have a basic basic vocab. I started learning mandarin Chinese by using the Rosetta Stone program.

I also took a class in person, a Mandarin Chinese class recently. It was a good experience too, and the conversation in class was helpful, and the teacher Ms. Tsao was really great.

If any readers are considering learning a language, I personally would suggest the Rosetta Stone avenue to beginning a new language. With the new features of being able to talk live with other Stoners, it is a system that worked best for me personally, in retention of new concepts.

I am interested in taking Russian next, since I now have blank slate since Mac Laptop was stolen which had mandarin installed on it.

Plus, I was almost going to take Russian instead of Chinese anyway. But I thought, well for business or any job whatsoever Chinese is the rational language.

But my heart was saying, it would be more fun for you to learn Russian.

Since I am not endeavoring to be George Clooney or Dos Equis, even though they are cool, and since I don’t plan on going into business....! : p

I just like language, just like I like music, and Jungian psychology. And I never though it was really great to like something for anything but it's own intrinsic value. Russian women are very pretty too, and Russian culture is really interesting to me. Their culture seems way more open-minded to alot of new age and occult type stuff than alot of places. Plus, there are Russian tourists everywhere, even in Cambodia! I love America though, don't get me wrong, I would not want to live under the government Russia has. Yikes!

My next software purchase will like be Russian Rosetta stone, and probably the Chinese Rosetta stone too. I like the psychology of the Russian language as I have read about it, it is pretty cool.

My rational for this is also the Chinese (3k plus character language vs. Russian 33 characters.)

I learn language easily, and I feel that I have good grasp of what Chinese I have learned from a spoken side, writing needs work. But I will be able to learn Russian much more effieciently and be able to converse much more effectively because of the ease of memorizing so few characters.

So, anyways, classes in person vs. Rosetta Stone coupled with language immersion…

I recommend the latter, from my perspective.

Thanks for reading.

Peace!

I don't smoke cannibus as I live in PA. My own belief that "linearity" with regards to life's progression is really mostly part of samskara, the great illusion, colors my narrative. Ideas beckon me towards self-actualization, a point that lies somewhere at the end of infinity. Life's journey being about finding your orbit, however erratic and learning, and loving accordingly. Within music, there is something profoundly humanistic, where there is hope. Spiritual glimpses of realities that progressively become more hopeful, I feel lucky to be standing on the cusp of another day.

This is why even after being homeless for now 7 months, having experienced a variety of amazing social interactions, the elemets of cold, the misfortune of being stolen from on numerous occasions, the great fortune of being given to on many occasions as well. Leaves me ultimately more joyful than before. Damn sure, I am more hopeful on a materialistic level that I will soon have a paycheck, an apartment, and some new shoes. My shoes have been invaded by a athletes foot funk, that is threatening to devour my feet with a bacterial fungus the likes of which should probably be treated like a chemical warfare agent.
I think back over my experience of being homeless, as I prepare to bid it a not-so-fond farewell. I have seen over the past 7 months, radical shifts in society from the ground level. In a unique way. I was in Oakland/SF/ Berkeley, during the spawning of what is the most significant proleteriat social movement in this country, I saw the feedback firsthand, I saw the good nature of many involved, the misguidedness of others. And though I was not participatory, the energy was vibrant. I recollect another highlight, attending the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass show, and annual bluegrass event in SF's Golden Gate park. I met so many very interesting people, many of whom were traveling across the country to various destinations, I was nearly ambushed by a pack of large racoons who were hungry which led to meet a bunch of interesting travelers in a thatch of trees. We ended up sharing food and some stories of travel. I saw also the economic crisis of Oakland, where occasionally I would cast my homeless squat. I saw the progress being made on social issues, the setbacks presented by budget issues and crime. I studied mandarin Chinese, and although my grades were not that great, I learned more on how to speak the language, and I am working towards improving my memorization of the Chinese characters. My teacher was a kind and very smart woman. I also met a few interesting friends, some of whom I am reminded that I need to email now. I participated in a poetry club meeting, an environmental club meeting, at the encouragement of another great SFer named Carla. I danced with bunch of crazy hippies and received so many open hearted hugs as a New Orleans style band blared there horns on makeshift platform in the street at 3 am, no less. Beautiful bikini clad women with dreadlocks spinning and bellydancing. I talked to all kinds of tourists, met some city government folks, met Michael Franti in a taqueria on the shittiest part of town where I was doing my homework, saw the vibrant latin culture in the Mission and Excelsior districts, stepped over pisspuddles, sat in on a jam session with some folks I met, received numerous generousities from very nice people, flirted with the possiblity of love with a fellow college student, and several others...but, homelessness has it's limitations.
And at night I retired into the (cold) night, carrying with me the glowing embers of an enlightening day, the hopefulness of a better future, and my vast vast spiritual connection to the multiverse, which has it's own way of letting me know, it's alll pretty damn amazing overall... Now, I am fortunate to be employed at a job that I can stomach, working in a factory, on practically the opposite side of the country. I am striving towards optimism, yes, but I am fiercely optimistic. Optimism need not be timid, awkardly postured, or compartmentalized into a mode of expression that suggests naivety. I encourage everyone to be boldly optimistic. Live YOUR values, live your DREAMS, suffer your PAINS, live fully in your JOYS. Find meaning in existence. Realize that our value as humans also rests partially within our ability to EMPATHIZE, and care for others. This empathy does not have to be timid either. BOLDLY empathize by following your heart, and only living by your heart. Don't worry about being viewed as someone who highly empathizes, or as highly virtuous. Just strive to be these things TRULY from the fullness of your heart, shining with out fear, in the full light of the new day, taking every new day as it unfolds... (cough cough) Uh... Okay. By embracing non-violent tactics the poor and oppressed were able to and not without many unfortunate casualties able to accomplish many amazing things.

In America, was soon born a movement that closely emulated the movement in the Arab Spring and in it’s inception even invoked the energy of the Arab Spring movement, by stating that the original Occupy Wall Street New York movement was in fact a movement modeled closely after the Arab Spring, in Occupy propaganda that was circulated on the internet early in the movement’s inception.

My goal with this perspective piece is not to state so much my own subjective opinion on what the connotations of this movement suggest.

But, in order to understand Occupy, we need to look at the playbook that both the Arab Spring, AND therefore Occupy Wall Street, are using in their demonstration tactics. The book is called “From Dictatorship to Democracy”, and was written by a very intelligent and undoubtedly kind hearted man, named Gene Sharp. The book has done wonders for the world, and for promoting world peace.

Dictatorship to Democracy, is viewed by some governments who have a strong desire to control freedom of speech even more then some facets of our own government in the US would like to, as being so volatile a piece of literature that it actually is a threat to power on par with an actual military threat on their domestic soil. For instance, it has been documented that the Russian Federal Security Bureau, the KGB with a questionably slight restructuring of internal operations, has referred to the book as a “bomb”. Indeed, presumably the FSB, or someone who strongly resonated with their agenda did literally bomb, or at least cause to be completely engulfed in flames overnight, many of the known bookstores which distributed Dictatorship to Democracy within Russia.

Now the interesting part. The book Dictatorship to Democracy was so highly regarded as being effective and not only effective, but also resource effective, at overthrowing or at least destabilizing US enemy regimes, that it’s author was at one point approached by representatives of the CIA, who were interested in a collaboration of sorts. Probably of a financial nature. The author declined, but like many kind and ingenious individuals such as Timothy Leary, but not so much Manuel Noriega, remains perhaps questionably linked in at least some oblique way.

Now, how does all of this play into the Occupy Wall Street movement. OWS actually implements the bulk of the political theory, a list of do’s and don’ts for effective non-violent revolution, found in Dictatorship to Democracy. However, rather than targeting a complete overthrow of the US government, they have implemented this sociopolitical stratagem to target the US financial system, specifically Wall Street and the Fed.

What this has the capacity of accomplishing in theory if we are to take the effectiveness of the Arab Spring movements, is the complete destabilization of the US economy in it’s current form. It has the potential of loosening up the gears in the system. It has the potential for creating a vacuum which can service a platform for a new financial order. Please note that the terms new financial order, is really quite interchangeable with the term new world order. . The point of this article is to show how this may work, from a mechanical perspective. A new financial order, is a new world order. Why? Because, and maybe at risk of being too subjective, Marx was at least materialistically correct when he states that the history of modern humanity is a struggle of the classes.

So, those folks you see smoking weed in the city square with their makeshift banners may well be the unwitting harbingers of the legendary….

                                                                                New World Order!!!!

Dah, dah, dahhhhhh!

Truth is way stranger than fiction.

A subjective note, a merging of OWS and Tea Party does not sound like a good idea to me, and that some people are already meeting along these lines and proclaiming the genius of such a collabo even on shows like Democracy Now!, it really just demonstrates a major deficit of political science theory on the part of both of these movements. Non-violent protest, should not be coupled with riotous gun culture, not to mention the extreme cultural insensitivity, and Christian proto-fascism that is the Tea Party.

Another subjective note, I am not involved in, I do not contribute to, the Occupy Wall Street movement in any way whatsoever.

I also do not support the use of domestic drones whatsoever.

New Year’s 2012. These are not the types of idea that one "grafts" onto their belief system. They profoundly change your perspective of reality in a way that is very positive, if applied appropriately.

The first book is the 2nd book in a series called the Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life.
This book gives more historical, and metaphorical cosmology that begins in the first book, and also continues with explanations of some very indepth multi-dimensional concepts. It also teaches a meditation which activates the MerKaBa around your human body. Essentially this creates something like "flying saucer" around your being. The experience is actually very amazing, very enlightening, and also comes with need to strive towards a more evolved system of ethics and empathy. It is a spiritual experience.

I don't recommend the first book shown here, without the second book also. The second book I feel is really needed to stabilize the meditation of the first book shown here, in some people. You can learn from your experience but I believe it would save you some time if you just integrated the meditation in the second book shown here.

Living in the Heart, is unlike any other new age book about the heart. This one is actually talking about living in your literal physical heart on one level. But actually it allow you to experience an endless consciousness within your own heart, to actually "think" using your heart, which is really a sanctuary, as a means of expanding empathy among other desirable attributes. By empathy, I do mean, completely selfless states of empathy, visions of absolute altruism can be experienced in this way. It is unlike anything I had experienced before this.

These two books, and the first one in the series are not means to becomin Marvel comic superheroes. They comprise a system of spiritual thought, that really at it's core insists on creating a really more peaceful world. A world that really insists on more empathy, and on less war. They are experiential, and if you are reading this, than maybe you should consider that these books might be for you as well.

These books are not the type of books that promise materialistic riches, they don't really promise anything at all. But they will change your perspective in an amazing way and at least suggest new potentials for human empathy, and of the interconnectedness of all of the multiverse.

My Idea for a Non-Profit Business

I have been percolating on an idea for awhile now. The idea is for a business which would install food gardens in urban backyards and then link all of the owners of such gardens together via a website.
The website would allow for trading of produce and eggs across the board.

It would be a non-profit. It would work by having clientele that wanted to be benefactors be charged more than the other clients and then it would couple that extra money with possible donations from others in the community to install free gardens of the same quality in low-income neighborhoods.

I think this idea would help to introduce much healthier foods to entire communities and create food sustainability in an unprecedented way.

It would incorporate ideas from Food Not Lawns, a book by Helen Flores, and also the use of some ideas such as square foot gardening and greenhouse domes. The food would be grown all-year round.

It would be shared free of cost on the website, so if one client needed tomatoes he could trade some of his potatoes for them with a neighbor right down the street or even across town.

Food should not be surrounded by politics that create such hunger problems in our own country.

People don't need a college degree, and they don't have to be rich either to have good food.

I have this idea on IndieGoGo right now.

Sayaka Ando. I have found a book entitled called Human Language and Our Reptilian Brain: the Subcortical Bases of Speech, Syntax, and Thought. I found a sample of this on Google books.

When I Youtube searched the book to see if I could find anything from the author, I found a video featuring President Obama on many a lonely housewives favorite day-time talk show, The View.

He is refering to human's necessary conquest and understanding of their own "reptilian brains".
